A New Journey

Welcome to Christina Lynn Interiors! I am excited to start a new journey of blogging with you. To start out I want to tell you a little about who I am and why I love design. But be sure to check back for design advice, my favorite projects, and what products are a must! If you have something in mind you want me to write about be sure to comment and let me know.
Where I Started
At a young age my high school art teacher encouraged me to look at interior design; From that moment on, the only thing I have ever wanted to do is design beautiful homes and commercial spaces for others. In 1998 I graduated with my interior design degree in Oklahoma and came back to Minnesota to begin my career. Soon after I started at the International Market Square in Minneapolis where I sold accessories. While I enjoyed my time there I knew I wanted more and so I switched gears and began working as a lead designer for another company in St. Paul.
After gaining 12 years of experience I decided to start my own company Christina Lynn Interiors in 2010. What started off as a small retail place and some design worked quickly evolved into full time interior design. I now office in downtown White Bear Lake and have loved the last 10 years of growing Christina Lynn Interiors.
Why I Love Design
To me it feels like every home is a new adventure because it is. No two homes are the same and nether are their owners. While many houses are built with a style in mind it may not always match what you have in mind. I get to meet with you to understand who you are and what you like in order to incorporate this with the home. But I must say that my favorite part of my job is watching designs come to life. When everyone agrees on a design we love and we are able to find all the right pieces to fit a space it feels flawless. That final moment when I can walk out of the door and know that a space is exactly what you were looking for, that is why I love design.
