Saint Croix River Reveal

Minnesotan's love their time on the water wether it be boating on one of our many lakes/rivers or just laying out on the beach summer is one of the best times of year after so many chilly months. With so many windows over looking the Saint Croix River we couldn't help but encompass that blue into this home.

This modern lakeshore living home was nothing short of extravagant. It was complete with sub zero appliances, beautiful hand crafted coffered ceilings, and high wainscoting throughout. By far my favorite part of this project wasn't a specific piece but the willingness of the homeowner to step outside her comfort zone and the trust she gave me to design the home of her dreams. It can be hard to agree to something you aren't used to especially when it comes to your own home but she was willing to have faith that the finished product would be worth it and it was.

This project all stemmed from the Calacutta Italiana countertops from Quartz Masters. These blue and gray veining countertops were stunning. Since the quartz is a natural material and every piece is unique it just so happened that this batch didn't contain the amount of blue we were hoping for. This allowed us to really utilize the blue in other areas of the kitchen and living room. Overall everyone was delighted with the finished project and ready to embrace all this beautiful home has to offer!
